mid-nightmare

Ugh. I keep looking at my favorite artists, then looking at my art. Almost all of my favorite artists are stylized, gorgeous, fun... even if they are drawing monsters. Then I look to mine and its... bland. Semi-realistic. Not fun, at least not to me. But I can't stop. Every time I draw, that is what comes out. I remember once I asked a favorite artist among my college classmates how they developed their style and they said that they just let go of it all. Just... remembered their basic rules of anatomy and perspective, but let everything else free. I still can't figure out how to do that, and it drives me mad.

Inspiraaaaaation... Between Civ V and TF2 I just don't even anymore. Srsly. Really though, holy hell have to clear out my gaming schedule a bit to make room for arting.
